Practice the gentle flow of breath, movement, and sound rooted in the balancing principles of Ayurveda (Yoga’s Sister Science). Developed by Ketul Arnold at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health for persons with significant health challenges, Rasa is appropriate for students of all levels and health conditions. Velez-Jackson is introducing this healing flow sequence for the Citrine Pilates and Wellness community to balance and support our bodies, minds and spirits. Benefits of the Rasa practice include:

  • Cleanse and sharpen the mind and senses through gentle asana (poses), meditation, and self-care in a concise format for busy lifestyles.

  • Practice sound during asana through humming, toning vowel sounds, and a Vedic chant to focus the mind, strengthen the control of breath and flow of vital life energy.

  • Boost peace, joy, and body resilience, while deeply calming the nervous system and reducing the symptoms of anxiety or uneasiness.
